First Look

Eduard produces a wide variety of aftermarket detail sets and decals, as well as full kits. Another useful item in the Eduard line-up are their steel templates which are photo-etched to provide reusable shapes and outlines for restoring or adding surface details.

Template Access Steel

In this set, Eduard has produced a template with three types of common access covers in different shapes and sizes. All you need to do is tape down the template, carefully scribe the desired shape, and move on to the next task. The template is made of steel so it is reusable indefinitely and with the various sizes provided, will work on your 1/32nd scale, 1/48th scale, and 1/72nd scale aircraft projects. Some of these shapes can even be found on 1/35th scale, 1/48th scale, and 1/72nd scale armor/AFV subjects.

You'll want to get this template as well as the others in this series so you'll be able to restore or add that missing detail in your future projects.

My sincere thanks to Eduard for this review sample!
