A-6E TRAM Intruder Exterior Detail

Eduard from the Czech Republic is easily the most prolific producer of aftermarket details. Period. Their series of photo-etched detail sets have brought additional fidelity to otherwise bland subjects, and have taken even the best-produced models and kicked them up a notch or two with details that cannot be produced with injection-molded plastic.

Many AMS modelers will collect the relevant Eduard photo-etch sets for a given project, and here is another must-have for the recent Kinetic A-6E TRAM Intruder kit in 1/48th scale. This set provides some nice exterior airframe details to enhance this kit.Two frets of photo-etched parts are included in this set, one of which is shown.

This set provides engine intake and exhaust details (which won't fit in the R-M kit), detailed boarding steps, engine bay panels and door details, fuselage panels and door details, improved flight control hinges and reinforcements, detailed, fuselage speed brake well details, pylon bottoms, wing fences, and wingtip speedbrake pedal interior details to pose the brakes open.

This set will provide nice exterior surface detailing for the nice Kinetic kit. You should be able to find this detail set at your local hobby retailer or one of the many online hobby shops. Trust me, this is worth looking for!

My sincere thanks to Eduard for this review sample!
