F9F-2 Wheel and Dive Brake Wells

Continuing in his development of a number of update sets for the Trumpeter F9F-2/2P Panther kits, Mike West of Lone Star Models is now offering a replacement wheelwell and dive brake well set.  Although the attached photograph shows the left and right main wheelwells as one piece (test shot), Mike has now split the wheelwell into two pieces to make it easier to install.  This is particularly important if you are going to fold the wings since the outside wall is part of the wingfold bulkheads.  

Part 1 of the Ginter series of books on the F9F Panthers is a good reference which clearly shows how these parts all interact with one another.  Both the book and this set is recommended.
