Here is a simple update to bring the Hasegawa 1/48 F/A-18C or
F/A-18D Hornet kit up to date. This set consists of four resin
parts cast in white resin and will be one of the easiest resin
conversions you could ever do. These parts provide two dual chaff/flare
launchers in fairings that are added just ahead of the main landing
gear, under the intakes. The rear of the chaff/flare launchers
are faired into the forward main gear doors, so a new set of doors
is also provided with the proper fairings in place.
Piece of cake.
What's more, this is a very reasonably-priced update at under
$5 USD, so you can bring all of your Hornets up to date.
