TSR.2 Main Wheel Well

Pavla produces an interesting line of detail sets for a variety of subjects, each one designed to enhance a particular aspect of a given kit. In this set, Pavla has started to dress up Airfix's 1/48 TSR.2.

This is a large casting that features both main wheel wells as well as two of the centerline bays all in one resin part. If you look closer at the image above, you can see the structural details of the intake trunks that run on the other side of those wheel well walls, plus the plumbing and mechanics for the main landing gear as well. Additional details are provided on the three small resin sprues.

This next image shows that this big resin part is a drop-in fit into the Airfix fuselage and with the right painting and weathering, will really set off the appearance of the model. Heck, the set looks rather impressive as-is! Pavla also offers the nose wheel well and a cockpit set separately, so you can mix and match the add-on details as you see fit.

If you want to dress up your Airfix TSR.2 kit, Pavla has the parts to get the job done!
