O-1E/F Bird Dog Interior

Pavla has developed several interesting details and corrections for the Airfix 1/72 Cessna O-1E/F (L-19) Bird Dog kit. This release completely transforms the kit's interior.

One of Airfix's great line of 1/72 kits is the Cessna O-1 Bird Dog. The kit is a simple build that looks good straight out of the 'box' (bubble pack) but it is one of only two styrene kits of this aircraft on the market - the other being the 1/48 Model USA kit. Pavla has released this set to update the Airfix kit and does this look good!

The set starts with a new floor and rear bulkhead with structural details cast in place. Very thin sidewalls with the throttle quadrants, map cases, etc. are also impressively done since there isn't much room inside that kit fuselage for any thick parts. The set has replacement pilot and observer seats along with replacement control sticks for the front and back seats and a new instrument panel. The set is rounded out with a vac windscreen and rear window which will eliminate the thick kit parts and allow you to see all of that nice detail inside.

If you want to dress up your Airfix kit, Pavla has the parts to get the job done!
