O-1E/F Bird Dog Flight Control Surfaces

If you're looking to add a little more detail to the front end of the Airfix 1/72 O-1 Bird Dog kit, here is an impressive bit of resin casting that will meet your needs. This intricate casting replaces the flight control surfaces and main wheels of the stock kit.

Take a look at that detailing! This set provides the rudder, elevators, ailerons, and those barn door flaps as separate parts. In fact, the flaps are already molded with the mating surface angled for the down position and the four separately provided flap hinges are likewise set up. The balloon tires of the real aircraft are also nicely captured in these resin replacements. If you combine this set with the beautiful interior reviewed here earlier, you'll really transform the Airfix kit!
