White Ensign Models continues to turn out some very interesting
detail sets in their 1/350 scale range. This particular release is
more like a "super set" in that it has just about everything you'll
need on the flight deck of Tamiya's 1/350 USS Enterprise.
This set includes:
- Six sets of heavy aircraft jacks
- Fluid replenishment trolley parts
- One SH-3 main rotor (spread)
- One SH-3 main rotor (folded)
- Two SH-3 tail rotors
- Two SH-3 cargo doors
- 12 tow bars
- Four S-3 Viking detail sets
- Eight F-14 Tomcat detail sets
- Eight A-6 Intruder detail sets
- Eight A-7 Corsair II detail sets
- Eight F/A-18 Hornet detail sets
- Two E-2C Hawkeye detail sets
- Four forklifts
- Eight Sidewinder missile trollies
- Six flatbed trailers
- Eleven start cart hoses
- One flight deck crash barricade
Each aircraft detail set contains gear doors, underwing pylons,
flaps, speed brakes, and landing gear components, as applicable.
This set provides a nice range of details to dress up some of the airwing
and add much of the other details onto the deck of your USS Enterprise. When
coupled with the other fitting sets from White Ensign Models,
you'll definitely have a work of art for your mantle!
Just when you thought you couldn't find any greater detail in 1/350 scale,
White Ensign Models has come alongside with their latest creations.
Definitely recommended for advanced ship builders!
My sincere thanks to White
Ensign Models for this review sample!
