White Ensign Models continues to turn out some very interesting detail sets in their 1/350 scale range. Their photo-etch detail sets add levels of detail and fidelity to a variety of ship subjects, and this release is definitely no exception!

This set is designed for the Trumpeter 1/350 Admiral Kuznetzov aircraft carrier kit. You can see a write-up of the ship and the Trumpeter kit here.

This detail set picks up where Trumpeter left off and is presented on one huge and one moderate sized photo-etched brass frets. The set provides an ample supply of railings, safety barriers, life rafts, ladders, etc.

Soviet/Russian ships are loaded with intricate radar arrays that can only be captured in photo-etch. This set provides the beautiful detail that you would want on your sensor masts. Oh yes, the set does include many of the masts as well!

In addition to the standard 'dish' radars that are even present on this ship, there is an abundance of phased array antennas including those mounted directly to the superstructure of the island. This set provides a significant amount of detail to even these radars. When you can see through the antennas just like the real systems, you've got just the right look.

Just when you thought you couldn't find any greater detail in 1/350 scale, White Ensign Models has come alongside with their latest creations. This set is a must-have for the Trumpeter kit! Check out the Kuznetzov companion airwing and deck equipment sets from White Ensign Models.

Definitely recommended for advanced ship builders!

My sincere thanks to White Ensign Models for this review sample!
