Avro Lancaster Bomb Bay Detail Set

White Ensign Models continues to expand its product lines into broader areas and this detail set is no exception. With this detail set, they've provided one part of four intensive photo-etched detail sets for the recent Hasegawa 1/72 Lancaster.

In this release, the set provides eye-popping details for the aircraft's bomb bay. This set includes detailed side walls for the bomb bay to match the overhead bomb bay detailing, a detailed center plate assembly, cable and pipe runs, hydraulic jack pipes, a cradle assembly for the 'cookie' bomb, standard bomb cradles, and details for the cookie and standard bombs including tail fins of a more scale thickness.

This set is not intended for the average modeler as you'll be working with very small photo-etched parts that will either need to be individually glued into place using a cyano adhesive.

This super-detailed conversion with work with any of the Hasegawa 1/72 Lancaster variants and will also work with the venerable Airfix kit.

The instructions provide good references for parts assembly and placement, plus some useful notes for modifying the stock kit to accept these new parts..
