ODG Studios is an interesting company that produces a wide range of display bases and has released an interesting base for Tamiya's 1/35 M561 Gama Goat kit. What you're seeing above and below is a display that depicts an M561 coming ashore from a river crossing. You can see the depressions for the rear wheels of the prime mover as well as the trailer wheels in the water depression while the tire tracks for the front wheels are climbing the side of the river bank. An old log is laying in the water next to the M561.
I've seen the completed base with M561 in place by the pattern maker which really makes for an interesting brown water vignette. ODG Studios have not put images of this on their website yet, but contact them through the link below and you can obtain more information on this and other display bases coming out of their shop.
My sincere thanks to ODG Studios for this review sample!
