Here is the latest figure set from Eduard and this is their first in this aircrew series rendered in 1/72 scale. Ironically, this is one subject that has not been released in their 1/48 series so far.

The kit consists of 34 parts on two sprue trees, each figure consisting of four-to-six parts. The molding is crisp and just waiting for some nice painting to bring these to life.

As depicted on the box art, two pilot figures are posed wearing their flight suits getting ready to fly, one wearing his helmet, the other carrying his helmet.

There are four ground crew figures in various poses that you can depict pre-flighting the aircraft or waiting for the flight crew to start their engine start checklists.

These figures will look great around a Czech Air Force L-39 or JAS-39 Gripen display and add some additional life to your model. What's more, the flight gear, flight suits, and the maintenance crew coveralls are very similar to those worn by Russian and other former Warsaw Pact air force personnel and this figure set will work just as well around a MiG-29 or Su-27.

I hope Eduard will consider releasing this same set in 1/48 scale so I can crew up my MPM 1/48 L-39 (as well as many other former Warsaw Pact subjects!).

If you're looking to bring some life into your next vignette, this is the set you've been waiting for!

Definitely recommended!

My sincere thanks to Eduard for this review sample!
