Here is the latest figure set from Eduard. As with previous sets in this series, this release provides six figures in 1/48 scale in similar poses as depicted on the box art.

The kit consists of 38 parts on two sprue trees, each figure consisting of six-to-seven parts. The molding is crisp and just waiting for some nice painting to bring these to life. What is new to this series is also a small fret of photo-etch containing tools and ammo belts that the figures are holding while servicing their aircraft.

As depicted on the box art, two figures are extracting belts of 50 caliber ammunition out of an ammo storage can while a third figure is feeding another belt of ammunition into the wing's gun bay.

The remaining three figures are designed to be posed with tools as if they're performing maintenance on the aircraft. One is crouching, the other two are standing.

These figures are most welcome as they will add a dimension of life around a nice Wildcat, Hellcat or even an Avenger while aboard a carrier deck scene or on an island airfield.

If you're looking to bring some life into your next World War II US Navy fighter project, add a set of maintainers as part of the premise of why your access panels and gun bays are posed open.
