Here is the latest figure set from Eduard. As with previous
sets in this series, this set provides six figures in 1/48
scale in similar poses as depicted on the box art.
The kit consists of 39 parts on two sprue trees, each figure
consisting of six-to-seven parts. The molding is crisp and
just waiting for some nice painting to bring these to life.
As depicted on the box art, the line NCO is standing around
the aircraft supervising the work crew. Three of the ground
crew are depicted as wearing coveralls as they service the
aircraft. Two of these chaps are laying on their sides as they
reload the ammo bays in the aircraft wing. The third chap is
pouring oil from a dispenser.
The last two chaps are wearing their normal service uniforms.
One is depicted alongside the cockpit with one hand on the
windscreen bow and the other on the cockpit sill. The last
chap is posed ready to pull the wheel chock out of the way.
These figures are most welcome as they will look great on
your 1/48 Spitfire, Hurricane, Typhoon, or whatever. I hope
Eduard will consider releasing these figure sets in 1/32 scale
as well. I have a number of fighters in that scale that need
servicing as well.
If you're looking to bring some life into your trusty 1/48
RAF fighter project, this is just the figure set to do the
job, and for six figures, the price is right.
Definitely recommended!
My sincere thanks to Eduard for this review sample!
