When I first saw this figure as a preview image from Fisher Model and Pattern, I was impressed with the details in that image. But the preview image was misleading as it showed the figure assembled but unpainted. What you didn't see in that preview image was the artistry and detail that sculptor Mike Good put into this project.

I had to image both sides of the figure and the single parts 'tree' - a total of six parts. The torso has absolutely beautiful details there - look at that parachute harness, Mae West, and uniform. The title image above helps to visualize what the completed figure would look like.

The figure is depicted with one gloved hand holding the other glove while the other hand is holding a map board. The seat parachute pack is molded separately and fits into the pre-molded holes on the rear of the figure.

Two heads are provided, one as seen above and one with his flying helmet and goggles in place.

This is a beautiful figure and would look absolutely perfect with your Fisher Model and Pattern (or Hobbycraft) 1/32 Sea Fury (reviewed here), but don't stop there. This figure would look just great with any other 1/32 post-war FAA aircraft as well.

This figure is definitely recommended and I think I'll have to stash several away for future projects. I hope that Fisher Model and Pattern will consider having Mike Good render a 1/32 Panther and Cougar aviator as well!

My sincere thanks to Fisher Model and Pattern for this review sample!
