Master Details is back with their third pilot figure, this
time representing a typical Luftwaffe fighter pilot wearing
uniform and survival gear typical of mid-to-late war operations.
This crew figure is posed seated to perch into your favorite
model's bucket seat. The figure is wearing the standard kit
of seat parachute pack, standard seatbelt and shoulder harness,
leather flight jacket, and leather flying helmet.
Two sets of arms are included, one each grasping stick and throttle,
the other set with cupped hands as if resting on the stick and
throttle (though these can be worked to do just about anything,
including holding the separately cast O2 mask and hose).
Four different heads are included in this set, all wearing
the leather helmet:
- Mask off, goggles up
- Mask off, goggles down
- Mask on, goggles up
- Mask on, goggles down
This figure would look great in any of the available Bf 109,
Fw 190, Me 262, He 162, or even in the Me 163...
While most modelers tend
to pose their aircraft parked, the more advanced modelers are adding
nice figures to their models to add a more dynamic element or story
to their project. This figure will defnitely help to bring your
next large aircraft to life! At the moment, this figure is available
directly from the manufacuter at Master
Details' website.
My sincere thanks to Master
Details (http://www.masterdetailsfromusa.com) for this review sample!
