Master Details is back with the first decent 1/32 resin USAF
ground crew figure I've seen to date, this one representing
a typical ground crewman wearing a t-shirt, BDU pants, ear
protection, and an anxious expression while clearly waiting
on the pilot in her aircraft. This is also the first modern
US military female ground crew figure in resin that I've seen
(I recall a styrene one in one of the 1/32 kits). When I saw
the painted up preview of this figure last week, I was really
impressed as I've seen that expression on the flightline before.
While most modelers tend
to pose their aircraft parked, the more advanced modelers are
adding nice figures to their models to add a more dynamic element
or story to their project. This figure would definitely look
great posed off the nose or alongside the boarding ladder waiting
on the pilot. At the moment, this figure is available directly
from the manufacuter at Master
Details' website.
My sincere thanks to Master
Details (http://www.masterdetailsfromusa.com) for this review sample!
