Warriors is one of the product lines that come from the
creative minds of VLS. They've produced a wide range of resin
military figures that feature great detail and simple construction.
Here is another release of interest. Click on the photo to see
an enlarged view.
Bill Chilstrom is one of the VLS artists working behind the
scenes and this is one of his latest. This 54mm vignette features
three soldiers advancing on their prey, with some unlucky chap
laying in the ground before them. While one soldier is gripping
his hand grenage, the second has his rifle at the ready while
the leader carries his pistol on one hand and his badge of
authority in the other. I love the sinister handlebar moustache
on the leader! The major components are almost snap together
in their design, though as you know, resin figures need to
be assembled with cyano or epoxy.
The detail in this set, just like any other Warriors release,
is great. Look at the different handle styles of the bayonettes
for instance! Each figure is carrying a full compliment of
gear.
My sincere thanks to VLS for this review sample!
