Master Details is under new ownership and all of their previous products are available on the new website (link below). In their first release since the change, Master Details has followed up the RAF and Commonwealth Pilot in Desert Gear with this new one representing standard flight gear for European operations during mid and late World War II.
This time we have a pilot in typical attire - standard uniform, warm boots and gloves for staying warm at higher altitudes. As with the previous releases in this series, this figure has two sets of arms to allow for a variety of poses whilst seated in the cockpit and four different heads to provide the standard combinations of goggles on or up and oxygen mask on or off. The heads are cast in white metal and the casting is as sharp as their previous heads in resin.
This figure is ideal to crew up any of your Tamiya 1/32 Spitfire releases as well as the Hobbyboss 1/32 Spitfire Mk.V. Of course this will work in any other RAF 1/32 fighter kit, even the venerable 1/32 Revell Beaufighter, but this figure is well-timed for these latest releases.
This figure is available directly from the manufacturer at Master Details' website.
My sincere thanks to Master Details (http://www.masterdetails.com) for this review sample!
