Billings Boats USA is importing a new line of tools that are designed for the scale modeler called Model Craft. While some are ideal for working on wooden boat kits, many have applications in plastic scale modeling as well. Take for example this new release - this is a simple stylus, but unlike any tool you've seen before, this one has a sticky sphere at the end which is ideal for picking up small parts and placing them with precision. How many times have you tried to pick up a really small piece of photo-etch with some tweezers only to have it 'twang' off into the carpet?
This new stylus has a protective cap to keep the sticky sphere from getting contaminated when not in use. As you can see in the image, it has the adhesive power to hang on to that cap. According to Model Craft, the sticky sphere will lose its adhesive properties over time, but it can be cleaned and 'recharged' by simply rubbing on another sticky substance like tape.

My sincere thanks to Model Craft for this review sample!
