First Look

Model Craft Here is an interesting tool that arrived at the Cybermodeler Labs, this is Shesto/Model Craft's handy magnifier. As you can see in the image to the right, this is more than a simple magnifying glass, this tool unfolds into a tweezer that has LED lighting and the magnifier which can be adjusted for comfort to get you close to your work yet be able to deal with tiny projects. This tool would be handy for installing railing and ladders on small-scale ship models, grab irons and clasps on armor models, and even help run rigging in biplane projects.

The whole tool folds up as you see it in the package below but can be adjusted to comfort as you see in the image to the right. The tweezers are metal while the battery/light holder and magnifier are plastic and has very little weight which might affect your dexterity after extended use.

My sincere thanks to Model Craft for this review sample!
