First Look
Begemot Decals is an interesting decal company from Rostov-on-Don, Russia that offers a nice array of markings for Soviet-built aircraft. In this release, Begemot provides a great selection of subjects for the recent HobbyBoss 1/48 Yak-38 Forger kits. This release provides a selection of 24 Yak-38 and Yak-38M Forgers with an interesting array of markings and color schemes. The subjects include:

As you can see, this decal set provides a nice variety of subjects for the standard Yak-38, later-block Yak-38M, and trainer version Yak-38U. As you can see in the images, these sheets provide all of the requisite national and distinctive markings as well as airframe stenciling.
