First Look

Here's the latest new release from Furball Aero-Design. This set provides a nice selection of F/A-18A/B/C Hornet adversary aircraft. This set provides schemes from 2002 through 2017, including camouflage patterns carried by the Su-35. Let's take a look:

The examples presented here include:

  1. F/A-18C, 164277, Naval Aviation Weapons Development Center, NAS Fallon, 2017
  2. F/A-18C, 164646, Naval Aviation Weapons Development Center, NAS Fallon, 2017
  3. F/A-18A+, 162867, VFC-12, NAS Oceana, 2014
  4. F/A-18B, 161924, VFC-12, NAS Oceana, 2017
  5. F/A-18A, 162906, Naval Strike Air Warfare Center, NAS Fallon, 2002
  6. F/A-18A, 162875, Naval Strike Air Warfare Center, NAS Fallon, 2004

This set provides markings for six aircraft options, with stenciling to support at least two models. Since these are low-visibility markings, these will work with any of the available Hornet kits from Kinetic, Hasegawa, etc.

My sincere thanks to Furball Aero-Design for this review sample!
