First Look
Lifelike Decals from Japan turns out some colorful and nicely printed subjects. In this set, we have four distinctive Bf 109s providing a nice cross-section of variants, theaters, and camouflage. The four aircraft presented here are:
- Bf 109E-3, W.Nr. unk, Kdr III/JG 26, Chievres AB, Belgium, May 1940
- Bf 109E-4, W.Nr. unk, Kdr II/JG 26, period and location unknown
- Bf 109G-6, W.Nr. 411960, Kdr III./JG 5, Gossen AB, Finland, May 1945, as flown by Hptm. Franz Doerr
- Bf 109G-14/AS, W.Nr. unk, Red 10, 2./JG 300, Esperstedt AB, Germany, Sept 1944, as flown by Uffz. Wolfgang 'Lumpi' Hundsdoerfer
As you can see in the decal images and profiles, this set provides some distinctive color schemes. This set was designed for the Academy Me 109E/G, Finemolds Me 109G, Revell Me 109G-10, or Tamiya Me 109E.
