First Look

There is a small decal company out of Portugal who is turning out some unique aircraft from none other than the Portuguese Air Force (FAP). Santa Cruz Modelismo is one of the lesser known (at least in the US) decal manufacturer lines carried by FlightDecs of Canada. The subjects presented in this interesting line-up range from the FAP's T-6 Texans to their F-16A Fighting Falcon and of course include the colorful commemorative G.91 Ginas!

In this set, Santa Cruz presents an interesting bare-metal G.91R/3 #5445 that carries commemorative markings for 75,000 flight hours between 1965 and 1993. This aircraft wore the markings in (of course) 1993.

The instructions include four-views of each aircraft with nice color references and corresponding FS595 colors where needed.

Santa Cruz Modelismo decals are available directly from FlightDecs on their http://flightdecs.ca website.

My sincere thanks to FlightDecs for this review sample!
