First Look

BarracudaCals now produces a companion line of resin details under the BarracudaCast brand to compliment their decal line. In this release, we have a replacement cockpit entry door that has the same nice detail as the original, except this time the crowbar is cast separately. The crowbar was an essential tool for escaping a damaged Spitfire where the canopy was jammed and the aircraft was either burning or about to catch fire.

These parts provide some nice detailing for your Tamiya 1/32 Spitfire Mk.VIII or Mk.IX kits, though these can also be used with the Pacific Coast Models Spitfire kit as well.

The castings are nicely done with sharp detailing.

My sincere thanks to BarracudaCals Decalsfor this review sample!
