First Look
Here is the latest release from Barracudacast, this time providing the smooth-tread main wheels in 1/32 scale for the HK Model 1/32 Lancaster kits. These wheels are quite large and heavy, and I've included my lens cap in the image to illustrate the size of these wheels.
These wheels provide greater detail relief than the kit parts as well as a seamless surface. These wheels are beautifully cast in tan resin and have no casting flaws or bubbles. The castings are nicely done with sharp detailing and not overdone weighted tires. If you want a nice enhancement for your HK Lancaster, this is the set you're looking for. These will also work with the Wingnut Wings 1/32 Lancs that are due out by the end of the year.
