Barracuda Studios produces a growing line of resin details under the BarracudaCast brand to compliment their BarracudaCals decal line. This release is a simple update for your 2017 (or newer) Eduard 1/48 Fw 190A/F/G kit. If you have one of the older Eduard kits, you know that it includes a detailed engine and exhaust plumbing, and the kit includes jigs to help you properly orient those exhaust pipes through the cowl openings. In the retooled Eduard kits, the detailed engine is replaced by a simple plate with some engine details molded to its face, and the exhaust plumbing is replaced by inserts.
This set provides two complete sets of exhaust stack inserts with hollowed out ends to replace the kit parts. Each of the exhaust pipes are thin to provide that extra level of detail. While these are drop-in replacements for the 2017+ edition kits, you can use these on the older Eduard Fw 190A/F/G kits with a little modification if you intend to build the model with the cowling closed.
