First Look
Here is one of the latest releases from Barracudacast, this time providing a quilted seat cushion-equipped pilot seat with separately cast Sutton belts for the pilot's restraints. This set is a direct replacement for the new-tool Eduard kit, but can also be used with other Tempest kits as well.
Thiis set is one of several updates to the Eduard kits (both the 'Series I' and 'Series II' releases) that also includes a nice replacement propeller spinner, hollowed-out exhaust stacks, corrected chin intake/radiator, and several main wheel options. Each of these sets is inexpensive, and if used with either the Overtrees or Weekend editions of the Eduard Tempest kits, will still be a relatively inexpensive but more accurate project.
