First Look
Eduard from the Czech Republic is easily the most prolific producer of aftermarket details. Period. Their series of photo-etched detail sets have brought additional fidelity to otherwise bland subjects, and have taken even the best-produced models and kicked them up a notch or two with details that cannot be produced with injection-molded plastic.
This set is designed to fit the Kitty Hawk 1/48 F-35B Lightning II kit. This set features details for the actuator hinges for the landing gear doors, interior details for the auxiliary intake doors, alternative lift fan faces, lift fan ventral louvers, missile rail details, landing gear detailing, and more. These photo-etch details provide a nice subtle additional level of detail in areas that were somewhat overlooked in the basic kit and are nice additions that are easy to use.
