First Look
Hussar is one of the brand names produced by AirConnection in Canada. Besides importing a wide range of books, decals, and detail sets from around the world, they produce a growing line of armor accessories in 1/35 scale. Here is a set of very nicely cast resin wheels and tires for the Zil-157 6x6 truck or the BTR-152 armored transport.
Molded in light gray resin, this set provides the three different wheel hub designs (front wheel, rear wheel outside, rear wheel inside) and the off-road-capable tread design with the tread patterns placed for left and right sides. A seventh wheel with a fourth wheel pattern is provided for the unmounted spare tire. In addition, a set of photo-etched parts are included for the valve stem shields.
This is a great set to add greater visual fidelity to either the Trumpeter or Skif Zil or BTR truck kits. With that crisp detail, these wheels are just begging for some dry-brushing and weathering!
