First Look

LionMarc Model Designs is a new company (to me) that has some rather excellent subjects. This set is produces some of the nicest resin track links I've seen. The set includes 220 resin track links in one zip-lock bag, plus 220 brass pins in a second bag.

Tiger I (Late) Workable Track Links

Assembly of this set is virtually identical to the full-scale tracks - piece two links together and insert the pin. The pins on the full-scale tank had a head on one end that would keep the pin from slipping through the tracks, and when the pins would slip out of the tracks in the direction of the head, they would encounter the pin-knocker on the hull to bang them back into place. You'll have to settle for a small dab of cyano to keep the pins in place after assembly.

My sincere thanks to Wings n Treads ( www.wingsntreads.com) for this review sample. Check out the other LionMarc as well as other cool aftermarket products that they carry!
