First Look
MAW-Decals continues its love affair with the F/A-18 Hornet in this latest release. This set provides an AN/AAS-38 Nite Hawk targeting FLIR for the Revell/Monogram 1/48 F/A-18 Hornet kits.
This set include the parts for the FLIR/targeting pod seeker, rotating head, and pod, plus the replacement part for the Revell/Monogram kit to mount the pod in place of the Sparrow missile. The set also includes a mask so that you can paint the seeker face, then protect it while you paint up the remainder of the pod.
This set is a drop-in fit for the Revell-Monogram Hornet kits (not the Super Hornets) and will configure the aircraft to carry a proper laser-guided bomb loadout.
