First Look
Moebius Models has released an interesting upgrade set for their Battlestar Galactica (kit 0915). This set provides three trees of styrene parts which are all upgraded gun batteries, two small photo-etched parts which provide the museum windows for the starboard launch bay, and a decal sheet which provide nice launch bay runway and exterior frame markings.
If you've acquired the Moebius Galactica from the 2004-09 television series (they've also recently released the Galactica from the 1978 series), this set will add some nice eye-catching detail to the model. If you've already built this model, the guns and some of the markings will still upgrade the look of your model (or you can build another and add lighting while you're at it). In any case, it is nice to see Moebius Models stepping into the so-called aftermarket detail arena to enhance their great line of kits!
