First Look
Pavla Models has introduced a resign upgrade pack for the recently released Airfix Spitfire Mk.1 in 1/72 scale. Contained within a clear polybag are (x2) vacuform canopies,(x2) main wheels, (x3) corrected under-wing cooler scoops and (x2) revised engine exhaust tubes.
Although minimal, there was some flash on the air scoops. The remaining pieces were flash free and well designed.
No instructions or decals are included so you'll need to have some reference material at hand to guide you for precise placement of the aforementioned scoops.
As with all resin aftermarket parts, you'll need a micro-saw to remove the individual pieces from their mounting blocks and cyanoacrylic glue to attach them to the polystyrene kit you wish to upgrade.
