Polar Lights, part of the Round2 Models line-up produces a nice array of science fiction spacecraft from a variety of venues. Together with AMT (another Round2 brand), Polar Lights has reissued a variety of subjects as Round2 rebuilds the product offerings previously produced by these companies. Last year, Polar Lights released a Universal Display Base with a diameter of 5.5 inches (almost 140mm) and provided a very nice display feature for many of Polar Lights' kits.
There are a number of kits in their line-up that were a little too large for the Universal Display Base so Polar Lights has answered that call. Here is their new Large Dome Base with a diameter of 7.5 inches (over 190mm) which provides stability for these larger models. The set includes the display base in black plastic, a stainless steel rod, and a ball and socket set also molded in black plastic. The base and rod will hold your model 9 inches (over 228mm) off the shelf.
This is another nice enhancement from Polar Lights and will definitely be a useful option for your spacecraft and even aircraft display requirements.
My sincere thanks to Round2 Models for this review sample!
