First Look
Platz Hobby produces a wide range of kits, decals, and detail sets for the hobby market and are wanting to make their presence better known outside the Japanese market. You might want to take note as if this is an example of their work, you're going to want to procure some of these various products of interest.
In this release, we have a very nice color photo-etch detail set for the cockpit of the 1/72 Hasegawa Ki-48 Lily. This set provides a two-layer instrument panel with an overlay with placards and instrument face openings that sits atop a second panel with the instrument faces printed on it. These are accompanied by color photo-etched seatbelts and shoulder harnesses.
The set also includes replacement crew seat, trim wheels, control boxes, and other nice enhancements. In short, you'll have plenty to see inside that greenhouse canopy enclosure!
