First Look

Resin 2 Detail sent us a copy of their Bristol Pegasus engine that they are about to releasein both 1/48 and 1/72. This gem is finely cast in gray resin (click on the image below and you can see the cooling fins on the cylinder heads and the details on the crankcase) and include pushrods and exhaust stacks.

Bristol Pegasus Engine

If you look at the Bristol Pegasus entry on Wikipedia, you'll note that it would be a shorter list of British and other pre-WWII aircraft that were not powered by the Pegasus. This is beautiful job of casting from what I expect are digitally designed molds and will give you a nice opportunity to display your aircraft with the cowling removed. This engine can be purchased in 1/72 or 1/48 scale directly from the manufacturer here: resin2detail.com.

My sincere thanks to Resin 2 Detail for this review sample!
