Resin 2 Detail has released a beautiful pair of resin M40 parafrag bombs for your favorite USAAF 1/48 Pacific theater attack aircraft kit. This set is cast in gray resin and features some excellent detail and casting technology. Look at the image below and you can see the nice details cast into these weapons. The M40 was a small fragmentation bomb that had a parachute attached to the rear which allowed an aircraft like a B-25 or A-20 to attack a target from low level and release these weapons. The parachute would rapidly decelerate the bomb and allow the aircraft to fly clear before detonation.
