First Look
ResKit from Ukraine produces a nice array of resin detail sets for a variety of popular subjects and scales. This set is a resin wheel set for Academy's 1/35 Seahawk helicopter. While Academy has yet to produce the SH-60B, SH-60F, HH-60H, or MH-60R in 1/35 scale, they have produced the MH-60S which retained the UH-60's tailwheel. For those considering a relocation of the tail wheel strut forward, here are the twin wheels for that strut.
This set provides two weighted main wheels cast in resin (three were included in this sample for some reason) plus separately cast wheel hubs and brake assemblies and the two wheels for the rear strut. Photo-etched parts are provided for the tie-downs. The surface details on the tires as well as the wheel hubs will provide some distinctive visual details.
You can use this set with the Academy MH-60S using just the main wheel parts but here is an opportunity to convert the Academy kit into one of the other versions of the Seahawk.
