First Look
SBS Model produces an impressive array of aftermarket detail sets for a variety of popular kits and subjects. Their online store is nicely laid out to show the variety of cockpits, propeller sets, ejection seats, and more that are available directly from their site.
This release is an impressive enhancement to the Hasegawa 1/48 Macchi C.205 kit. This set completely replaces the spartan interior of the Hasegawa kit with new resin sidewalls, cockpit floor, instrument panel, pilot's seat, and controls. The photo-etch set provides the instrument panel with an acetate sheet with printed instrument faces. It also includes trim wheels, rudder pedals, rear bulkhead plate, and shoulder harness.
This cockpit set will definitely dress up the cockpit of the Hasegawa kit and provide good reason to leave the canopy open so you can show off that really nice interior.
