First Look

If you've built Tamiya's nice Sd.Kfz.7 halftrack kit, you know that for whatever reason, the kit designers made the front wheels steerable. The mechanical design to accomplish this novelty was okay, but it compromised the detail of the actual vehicle.

Sd.Kfz.7 Full Front Train

Signifer has released this detail set cast in resin to replace the working front-end with a scale representation of the vehicle's front-end suspension and steering mechanism. The kit also includes some nicely treaded replacement wheels that are weighted for a more realistic appearance.

This detail set will enhance the look of your Tamiya kit and set you up for a show pleasing model.

My sincere thanks to Signifer for this review sample.
