First Look
Unicorn Models is a prolific producer of details and accessories for a wide range of scales from 1/6 to 1/72 for the war in Europe during World War II. These details range from simple fixtures and posters to rather interesting details to bring life to your scale diorama or vignette.
In this set, we have 15 maps depicting different allied (and other) campaigns in Italy during World War II. This interesting release is nicely done and will actually be usable in virtually any scale. Where this would be a wall map in 1/72 scale, they would be a tactical map in 1/35 scale. This would even look good draped on a wing of a 1/48 scale P-51 Mustang as crews plan a sweep in support of a major operation.
If you're modeling a scene in another part of Europe, stop by Unicorn Models' website and chances are they'll have just what you're looking for.
My sincere thanks to Unicorn Models for this review sample!
