First Look
Wingman Models is back with another interesting set of external stores. In this release, we have a set of seven Mk.82 500 pound bombs, a centerline multiple ejector rack (MER) and two pylons for the 1/48 Kfir or Nesher. Seven bombs sound like an odd number (pun intended) but according to the loadout information for these aircraft, the centerline MER carried only five Mk.82s (two front, three aft) and the two weapons stations mount on the near the rear edge of the wing and carry one additional bomb each.
This set provides the nicely detailed MER, two rear fuselage pylons, seven bombs, seven tail fins, your choice of two fusing types for each bomb, and a set of bomb stencils. I like the separate castings for the tail fins which means they can easily render the Snakeye tail kits in the future.
This set will provide a distinctive loadout option for the 1/48 scale Kinetic Models or Wingman Models Kfir kits (or your favorite Nesher). Get a set or two!
My sincere thanks to Wingman Models for this review sample!
