First Look

Zactomodels is a small aftermarket company that does some of the most incredible engineering and casting to correct or convert selected beloved subjects. This time around, they've introduced a nice option for the Trumpeter (or Revell) 1/32 MiG-21MF Fishbed J kits. This set replaces the kit pylons with more accurate details, especially on the bottom, and come in two types - early and late.

The early pylons are more distinctive than the stock parts, while the late pylons add some reinforcing plates and anti-sway braces to the inboard pylons. Each pylon comes with a set of optional brackets which will help you recreate the look of the aircraft you're building from photo references.

As usual, this is a nice bit of engineering from Zactomodels to enhance the Trumpeter and Revell kits.

You can learn more about this and other project from the Zactomodels website at http://www.zactomodels.com.

My sincere thanks to Zactomodels for this review sample!
