First Look
J's Work is an interesting company producing a nice range of details and diorama accessories of use to a wide range of modelers. In this release, we have a set of fixtures that would be found at virtually any contemporary check point around the world.
Molded in light gray styrene, this set is presented on two parts trees. The set includes:
- Concrete barrier (three segments plus run-up)
- Watter barrier (three segments)
- Portable iron fence (two sections)
- Traffic cones (seven)
- Lamp post/street light (one)
You can use this set to create a vignette or diorama for your 1/35 up-armored Humvee, MRAP, or M-ATV (or any other modern combat vehicle for that matter) and some dismounted figures to replicate a security check point erected by UN or coalition peace keeping forces. The possibilities are only limited by your imagination.
