First Look

TGMA has just released a new item in their catalog - this being the perfect way to get started in resin diorama sets. This set is a simple four-piece kit of a typical European village shop with living quarters above the store. The kit provides the building face, two side walls, and a section of the tile roof.

Small Village Shop

If you've seen the similar diorama sets produced by VLS or Plus Model in 1/35 scale, this provides the same nice detail in 1/72 scale. If you want an interior, you'll have to scratchbuild that detail, but these sets are typically used as backdrops on dioramas or vignettes to show off a combat vehicle, figure(s), or a combination thereof.

You can purchase these and any of the TGMA line directly from their online store. In addition to kits and diorama sets, they also carry an interesting array of military surplus gear should you want to outfit a one-scale figure (such as yourself).

My sincere thanks to TGMA for this review sample!
