First Look

With the recent release of not one, but two Caterpillar D7 bulldozer kits circa WWII, it is nice to see some figures produced to help bring these kits to life. LZ Models has released several figures including a driver/operator and two mechanic figures. Let's take a look:

US Army Mechanic Tuning Engine Kit

This figure represents (according to the package) a US Army mechanic tuning the engine of the D7. The figure is cast in gray resin and consists of four parts: torso, head, left and right arms. The mechanic is depicted in utility uniform without hat, and the figure depicts an African-American serviceman. The detailing is nicely sculpted and will make painting of the figure very straightforward.

With MiniArt and Mirror Models releasing WWII-era D7 bulldozer kits, it is nice to see some figure options available.

My sincere thanks to Stevens International for this review sample!
