First Look
Eduard continues to amaze me with the detail sets that they turn out. Here is a set of photo-etch-based paint masks to either use their prefabricated license plates, or use their modular masks to create your own plate numbers.
In the pre-fabricated plate masks, there are:
- 10 Luftwaffe plates
- 10 Wehrmacht plates
- 10 Waffen SS plates
- 4 Marine plates
- 4 Polizei plates
- 4 OT plates
- Several maintenance stencils
In addition, there are additional plate mask modules with three complete sets of numbers and frames to replicate the different shapes used by different class vehicles.
To hold the modular pieces together during airbrushing and to prevent paint from drawing between the modular plates, Eduard also includes a set of masking strips to hold/seal everything together.
This set will definitely add a good look to your next 1/35 German car or truck project as these definitely look nicer than decals!
My sincere thanks to Eduard for this review sample!
