First Look
Furball Aero-Design produces a nice variety of aftermarket decal sets, and now they've addressed another useful area - paint masks. Here is one of their latest releases, a mask set for the Kitty Hawk 1/48 F-35C Lightning II and they've done something a bid different. This set provides paint masks that are die-cut from black vinyl to outline the canopy of the Kitty Hawk F-35C (you'll need a liquid mask or other medium to blank off the rest of the canopy). In addition, there are wheel hub masks and masks for the under-nose sensor included.
This set will make painting of the F-35C kit easier and I hope Furball Aero-Design will consider a set of masks for the RAM patterns on the aircraft as well. Nice work guys!
